The follow-up to the 2010 film workshop was dedicated to film editing. The basis for the workshop was the unedited film material in the National Museum, (Cultural Centre) Te Umwanibong in Bikenibeu, which documented events from the traditional culture of Kiribati. The Cultural Officer, Mr. Natan Itonga, allowed the workshop to be held at the Cultural Centre and agreed for the material that he had recorded in 2010 with his deputy, Mr. Anatati Wilson, to be edited by the workshop participants under the supervision of Dr. Husmann. After the workshop, a screening of two of the completed films took place during the “Final Symposium” at USP Kiribati Campus. At the end of the symposium, all participants received a certificate from Dr. Husmann confirming their successful participation in the workshop.
